A new service for the paperless chase
By Michael Morse | August 31, 2009
Each time I research paperless products to share on my blog and to use in my 44 person law firm, I am amazed at all of the creative new services available.
Today I found an interesting new service called www.pixily.com. Many people who call me or visit my office want to jump in to paperless tools and services with both feet. They want to start scanning all of their files or all of their closed files right away. The manpower required for this would be very costly. Pixily might be the answer for large, bulky scanning jobs. Pixily is an online document and records management service with document scanning included in its monthly fee. They send you free, postage paid, waterproof, oversized envelopes to use to send your documents for scanning. After they’re scanned, they can stay put on Pixily’s website or you can download them in PDF format to store on your own server. Also, it is pretty cheap! 3000 pages a month is only $14.95 and 6000 pages is $59.95. There are other options available. Check out www.pixily.com for details.
Remember, less than 2 weeks to the Midwest’s largest techshow ever. Only a few seats left. If you want to come, email mlefke@michiganjustice.org to reserve your spot. See you there!
